Cine Las Americas is a multi-cultural, 501(c)3 non-profit organization based in Austin Texas. The mission of Cine Las Americas is to promote cross-cultural understanding and growth by educating, entertaining and challenging diverse audiences through film and media arts. Cine Las Americas’ programs are divided in two: the exhibition and promotion of Latin and indigenous film and video, and the design and implementation of bilingual media arts education programs for minority youth in Austin. | www.cinelasamericas.org

BeatLab, under the umbrella of Cine Las Americas is an English and Spanish bi-lingual after school program designed to foster artistic expression, enhance academic achievement, and create career paths for minority students. Latinitas
Latinitas is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering young Latinas through media and technology. Latinitas Magazine is the first digital magazine made by and for Latina youth in the U.S. Latinitas magazine is focused on informing, entertaining, and inspiring young Latinas to grow into healthy, confident and successful adults. Since 2002, they have offered media enrichment programs aimed at empowering girls to express themselves and gain confidence to succeed. They host after-school clubs, workshops, conferences, camps and internships where pre-teen and teen girls can discover their voice, build multimedia skills and foster a positive self-esteem. | www.latinitasmagazine.org

Latino Comedy Project
The Latino Comedy Project (LCP) is an Emmy-nominated multimedia sketch comedy troupe whose unique brand of fast-paced multicultural satire strikes a chord with both Latino and mainstream audiences alike. As a seasoned touring troupe, the LCP has performed at universities and comedy festivals across North America, while the LCP's YouTube videos have received over twelve million views worldwide. The LCP cast also co-wrote and were featured in an MTV3 comedy ad campaign which was nominated for a 2009 Emmy Award. They're bad. They're brown.
